VOICE ONE:             An invasion of locusts strikes havoc across the Middle East.  Like an army billions of warriors strong, they march in regular order, devouring everything in their path.

VOICE TWO:            Gnawing!  Cutting!  Eating!  Multiplying!  Devouring!

ALL:                           Locusts!

VOICE THREE:        When flying, the vast numbers of the horde completely obliterate the light of the sun from reaching earth.

VOICE FOUR:          Total destruction.  Wheat, barley, vineyards, fig trees, pomegranates, palms and apples—all devastated.

VOICE ONE:             If repentance and turning to God were a national priority as a result of the approaching locust plague, how much more the approaching Day of the Lord?

VOICE TWO:            The message of the Prophet Joel, Blow the trumpet in Zion for the Day of the Lord is at hand.

VOICE ONE:             An invasion led by the Lord of Hosts wreaks judgment upon the Middle East.  The army of God, rank upon rank, marches in regular order defeating every enemy in its path.

VOICE TWO:            Flaming!  Crackling!  Destructive!  Unstoppable!

ALL:                           God!

VOICE FOUR:          Multitudes in the valley of decision.  The harvest is ripe, the vinepress is full.  Their wickedness is great.

VOICE THREE:        God’s judgment poured out in wrath upon the nations, the world-system in opposition to Him.

VOICE TWO:            God’s protection on His chosen people, preserving them in the midst of the storm.

VOICE ONE:             Judgment and Justice!

VOICE FOUR:          Preservation and Blessing!

ALL:                           The Day of the Lord!
